For more than 25 years, we have focused on helping leaders improve the performance of their organisations.
During this time, one deceptively simple question has remained:
Why do organisations use operating systems to manage their finances, customers, and employee information, etc - and yet leave its ‘performance’ to be managed using disconnected practices?
This question has been central in our research and applied work spanning elite sporting environments, businesses of almost every type, and government agencies.
While organisations continue to invest in the structural domains that govern workplace performance - strategy, leadership, culture, capability and performance management - in practical terms, they are largely designed, owned and applied as separate initiatives.
When this occurs, they get interpreted differently between workgroups meaning they can never be scaled let alone integrated as a system to drive performance.
We came to see this as The Missing Infrastructure.
Our initial research identified the principles that govern human performance. Over time, those principles have been translated into practical frameworks, applied inside organisations, tested, refined and ultimately integrated into a performance operating system.
The culmination of this work is a new enterprise category: High-Performance Operating Systems - HPOS.
And as Vantaset's implementation of that category: Performance-OS™.
But this milestone doesn’t belong to us or Vantaset alone.
Over the years, hundreds of leaders and organisations have had the courage to consider our thesis and the thinking behind it.
They asked questions.
They examined established assumptions.
And they gave us the opportunity to test our premise in their business despite what others in their sector were doing.
