Stephen Smith is one of the UK’s most distinguished Psychologists. He is the Chair of the Sport and Exercise and Psychology Division at the British Psychological Society and a Higher Psychologist at the UK’s College of Policing where he delivers psychological assessment of all new Chief Officers. He is regarded as the expert in psychometric assessment for the UK’s Blue Light sector with nearly 40 years of global experience applying psychology to high-risk fields. He is one of only 6 Psychologists in the UK who is fully certified to practice as both an Occupational and Sport Psychologist. In addition to this, he is a senior lecturer at 3 of the UK’s leading Universities to both Masters and Doctoral students.

Stephen’s role as an Independent Scientific Advisor to the UK Government (‘College of Experts’) and College of Policing has allowed him to examine the challenges both Crime Commissioners and Chief Constables throughout the United Kingdom are facing.
